In order to sharpen the aesthetic expressivity in my art, I explored many frontiers; for example, a concentrated study of anatomy; an examination of the abstract relationships between visual elements; and the creation of the cartoon character Harout, with its accompanying characters.
Admittedly, my desire to pull humanity away from its wrongs through satire was a bit naïve. That society is addicted to money is a condition in which I cannot influence a lasting cure.
Therefore, I decided to return to abstraction, so fundamental to my early training and influences; with it, I bring my experience as a figurative artist. If I can accomplish one thing, it is, simply, to be elegant and well stated.
